ADVERT: There are only a few days left until New Years Eve. An all so exciting time of the year, which is when we start getting ready for the big celebration, that will mark the start of 2020 and for most of us it`s the time of the year when we tend to reflect on the year that had passed, and then we start planning the upcoming year, in this case 2020. I know people, who already have a long list of new year resolutions. It feels like as if it was the end of something old, and the beginning of something brand new. It practically makes us think that we get the chance to have a fresh start of whatever we choose to change, create, and so on.

I personally feel like I have learned from things that have happened in my life in 2019. Did I spend enough time with loved ones? Did I meet my goals? How did it all turn out at the end? Have I been happy? These are the type of questions I am asking myself this time of the year.

Some of us are happy, because they managed to climb Kilimanjaro (like Kickass Karianne), some are happy because they have achieved their dream of setting up their own online business (like many of people I coach through Lifestyle Business eCademy), while others are happy because their family is complete. I believe that what really matters is what we get out of achieving our goals at the end of the day. It`s the end result that matters – that feeling – which is the level of our happiness and feeling content, because we all just want to be happy. It`s just that different things make different people happy.

I have realised that I was pretty happy with my life in general. I am grateful for the bad things that happened to me, as I have grown as a person thanks to these, and I am thankful for all the good things, as they filled my everyday life with this happiness feeling. However I also know which adjustments I will make in 2020 to become even more happy 🙂 Living more in the moment seems to be on top of my list! The rest of my list is private 😉 All I can say is NEW YEAR, NEW ME 😉

Anyhow back to our main topic. I hope you also get the chance to have a good start of 2020.
